Two Eagles

Just over two years ago, I faced a decision about what to do (or not do) with my newfound and polished mediumship skills. I had just completed a mediumship certification class and discovered that I enjoyed doing readings. I was searching for direction on how to integrate this into my life.
My mentor suggested signing up as a vendor at an upcoming psychic expo to offer readings. It seemed like a great idea, but the thought of being a first-time vendor felt intimidating. One of my classmates, Joan, was in a similar position, unsure of her next step. We chatted about the expo and other possibilities but remained undecided.
I decided to ask my angels for a sign—guidance on what to do. After all, our training taught us to turn to our angels (our team) for help. It felt like solid advice. One afternoon, with this decision weighing heavily on my mind, I stopped by my favorite coffee shop for a drink. As I stepped outside, I looked up and saw two eagles flying side by side over the Cedar River. This was my sign! Joan hails from Decorah, home of the famous Decorah eagle nest, and there were two eagles.
I messaged Joan about what I’d seen. She replied that it’s rare to spot two eagles flying together, as they typically soar alone. Then it clicked—those eagles symbolized us, ready to take flight together.
We signed up for the expo, and that weekend exceeded my expectations. I did readings for more than 30 people in two days. It was exhausting and amazing! Since then, Joan and I have worked many expos together. Even better, we’ve become close friends and colleagues.
Fast forward to two weeks ago: Joan, I, and two others hosted an event called A Cosmic Gathering in Decorah. Before it began, we met for lunch at a local restaurant. While waiting for my food, I noticed a picture on the wall—two eagles! It felt like a wink from the universe, confirming we’re on the right path.

I share this story with you for a few reasons:
Don't forget to ask your angels and guides (your team) for help and guidance - it's their job to support you.
Going solo can be rewarding, but finding a person—or a team—to collaborate with can lead to even richer experiences.
Personal growth often means stepping out of your comfort zone. I was super nervous for that first expo and felt like an imposter, but now I know I belong.
If you're on a spiritual journey, don't hesitate to reach out to me, Joan, or someone else you trust.
Here's to finding your tribe and connecting with your angelic team!
