Easy Breezy (Trail)

I recently returned from a trip to Sedona, AZ. This place has become one of my favorites. The scenery is beautiful, the energy is amazing, and there are countless trails and hikes to explore.
On my last day in Sedona, I visited Cathedral Rock. I decided to ask my angelic team for messages as I explored this vortex site. Here are a couple of themes I received during my visit.
You don’t always have to prove yourself
My intention when arriving at Cathedral Rock was to climb to the top again. I made it to the top on my most recent trip (which I wrote about in this blog post), so I wanted to experience that again. I started the ascent, and after several minutes, I paused to look around. I noticed the other people climbing and the beautiful scenery. It occurred to me that I had already made this climb, and there might be other things to explore here. My ego jumped in and told me to keep climbing, as that was my intention—to prove to myself I could make it to the top. As I turned to continue the climb, I realized I had already done that. I had already proven to myself I could do it. I turned around and started the descent back to the bottom.
When I arrived at the bottom, I decided to take a trail I had noticed when I arrived. It’s called the Easy Breezy Trail. It was a rocky path with beautiful scenery. It was also very quiet—very few people. I loved it. I felt very connected here. During my time on this trail, I met a mother and her son. They asked me to take their picture with a camera using real film. I enjoyed my chat with them and then continued on my way.
The Easy Breezy Trail was easy, a bit breezy, and a lot of fun.

When you find the right conditions, you will bloom
One thing I noticed about the Easy Breezy Trail was the abundance of vegetation. Sedona is very dry, but certain plants thrived here. My angels reminded me that these plants thrived because the conditions for them were just right.

I thought about this for the remainder of my hike. Here are some of my thoughts on this theme:
Find your niche or area that brings you joy and allows you to thrive.
Part of the conditions is not just your environment, but also your mindset. You could be in the most beautiful place in the world and still be angry or frustrated by things. Mindset matters and it is the one thing you have complete control over. Yes, things happen, but we can control how we react and how we think about these things. This is your superpower.
Surround yourself with people who help and encourage your growth. I believe we don’t need a lot of people to support us, but just a few of the right ones who will be with us along our journey to push us when we need encouragement and love us unconditionally.
My hike was a great way to cap my trip to Sedona. I hope you find some things for you in these messages. The great thing about spirit is that these types of messages can mean something unique to each of us, and that is perfect.
